RSA film competition Update

I had my shooting yesterday! I think it went quite well. I had three 'actors' and I chose an action for each of them, which the other two also had to copy. My three actions were - David playing a video game, Jana getting ready to go out so applying make up perfume etc, and the last one was playing pool with a friend.

I chose these three because I want to integrate some humor into the video for it to be more interesting. Having two guys and one girl for the film made me choose one action that is very (stereotypically) many - playing Fifa video game, and the second action very girly - applying make up, and listening to a girly song, singing along..and the third one is not stereotypical in any way as everyone plays pool, but here I played with the fact that all three of them were playing pool with the same person which will give some context to the video and help make more sense.

I also found interesting the discussions that were happening whilst we were filming, for example when we were doing the girly scene the two guys found it very weird to put make up on, but they were playing along with it and that showed me and Jana what guys might imagine that we do when we get ready. The conclusions after that certain shot was that one of the guys kept saying that he's happy he's not a girl, and doesn't have to do this everyday, and that now he understands why it always takes girls so long to get ready. I couldn't help and not mention this, it might be just the CCM in me that likes to analyze this kind of stuff.

For now I have a plan of what I want to do with the editing, but it will probably change drastically and repeatedly throughout the editing process. Some things might not work, and probably won't so I have to start editing asap so then I have a month to get feedback and re-edit.
