FIlm integrated in Theatre

I have a lot of friends from the performing arts department, and that's how I've been involved in so many such projects in the past two years. This year I am a bit more involved, so I'm not just filming like the other performances.

So I have two main projects that I need to film for, that will be integrated in the live theater performance. I've started filming for one of them, as the film will be almost half of the performance. So we filmed in a park last week, and we filmed at the German Market in Birmingham yesterday. I'm using the 5D for it.

I will be very interesting editing the footage as it will have to be quite experimental, dream like. I have a bit more to shoot and then I can start editing. The film will be projected behind the actors most of the times used as a representation of a different reality, or a dream or imagination. Therefore the footage has to be quite experimental.

The second one will be as a memory..home footage of some children getting lost in a zoo, so the feel of the video has to look like it's done by an amateur. I haven't started filming that one yet because the team is still trying to sort out the logistics with the zoo. We will do it in January.

Both performances will take place in May so there's enough time to do everything
