Direct Cinema Asignment

As I mentioned in earlier post about Direct Cinema, our first asignment was to creat a two minute direct cinema clip. I initially filmed in a club trying to recreate Leacocks Jazz Dance. I used the kodak cameras from Nick to shoot it. The following week I gained access to the Canon 5D and had a band photoshoot planned with a Blues Brothers tribute band from Birmingham so I decided to shoot that instead for the asignment.

I shot some images of the band's memers setting up the stage, and also few shots of the gig. I mixed the images up to make it more interactive, and because I didn't want to have a continous 'narrative' set up and then gig. They also had the original car from the film, so I thought that would be quite interesting to integrate into the film.
